Privacy Policy
- No sign-up or login. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
- What you say or type is stored only on this device and is never sent to our servers.
- All we receive is anonymous usage numbers with none of your notes, and you can turn that off in Settings.
Type3Soft ("we") operates WAJUDAY : What did you do? (the "app"). This policy explains what the app keeps where, and what is sent to us.
1. Information kept only on your device
We cannot receive or see any of this. It is deleted when you delete the app, and you can erase it anytime in Settings › Erase all, or save it as a JSON file in Settings › Export data. If device backups (such as iCloud) are on, it may be included in your device backup under Apple’s policies.
- Your notes and plans: the sentences you say or type, the names of things, and dates
- Words you teach the app (names, nicknames, date phrases), the name the app calls you, and settings
2. What we receive: anonymous usage statistics
- What: fixed event names and values (for example, whether a note was spoken or typed, which share layout was used, onboarding steps, install week and days of use)
- Never: the content of your notes, names, device IDs, advertising IDs or location
- We do not store IP addresses, browser information or access times; data is stored only as daily totals and deleted automatically after 90–120 days.
- Opt out: turn off Settings › Share anonymous usage stats. Nothing is sent, and stats collected on the device are discarded.
3. Device permissions
- Microphone and speech recognition: used only when you dictate a note. The app uses iOS speech recognition, processed on the device where supported; on devices that do not support on-device recognition it may be processed by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We never receive or store your voice.
- Notifications: local notifications scheduled on the device only. We do not send push notifications.
- Photos (add only): used only to save share cards and videos to your library. The app does not read your photos.
4. Sharing and sending a memory
- Sharing uses your device’s share sheet and goes to the app you choose, under that app’s policies.
- When you send a memory, its content is placed after the "#" in the link. That part is never sent to a web server and opens only on the recipient’s device.
- We count how often shared links are opened, as daily totals only, without storing IP addresses.
5. Third-party services
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — hosting for the website, statistics server and language rule updates; stores the anonymous daily totals.
- Apple Inc. (USA) — app distribution, and speech recognition on devices without on-device support.
6. Your choices
Your notes live on your device, so you can view, edit and delete them yourself. Anonymous statistics cannot identify you; you can stop them in Settings.
7. Children
The app has no sign-up and collects no personal identifiers, so it is safe for all ages.
8. Changes
We may update this policy and will post changes in the app or on this page.
